Fabulous Grade II listed Georgian Town House, in the centre of Whitby. Built in 1789, it is full of historical interest, and is the only one of this design in Whitby . . . a unique experience!
It sleeps six people in three large double bedrooms and is situated in a popular square on the West Cliff.
Included is all heating, linen, towels and a Welcome pack, (with red or white wine).
It is a very spacious place for up to 6, comfortably and stylishly furnished, with antique furniture and has many unusual decorative items from our shop The Stonehouse Emporium, just down the road at 1 Skinner Street. We offer our guests 10% discount in the shop!
There are three double bedrooms, (two ensuite),large dining kitchen, music room with baby grand piano, bathroom, shower room, three loos, and very large living room, with tv, dvd player, etc.
There is a front garden with mature fruit trees and is well planted. A great place to sit outside, day or evening,as it is South facing. We can accommodate two cars on the drive,(a rarity in central Whitby!) and it is gated, so is very secure.
It has been used for filming Heartbeat, and has been featured in The Sunday Times, Yorkshire Post, Guardian,Coast Magazine,Tyne Tees Television, as it is so unique.
The house is situated on the West Cliff, near the popular Skinner Street, which is full of antique shops, musical instrument shops, lingerie shops, clothing shops and restaurants. The most exciting retail street in Whitby, as there is something for everyone.
There are fabulous sandy beaches to walk on, the Yorkshire Moors, and Heartbeat country close by to explore.
Captain Cook, Dracula, Whitby Abbey, North Yorks Moors Steam Railway, Whitby Jet, . . . Whitby has it all.
